1️Web1.0 ——“Readable”

With the advent of "WWW", people began to create different types of displayable information on their pages, such as news, information, photos, etc. Data on the Internet can be intuitively displayed on a web page using the web, and data can be linked on a web page. Famous companies such as Google and Yahoo were founded during this period. By creating different portals by displaying different web pages and then encouraging users to click and watch, businesses could personalize their ads and drive traffic. Later we called this period Web1.0 (approximately from 1991 to 2004). In Web 1.0, there are few content creators, and most users only use it as a reading medium. At the time, the Internet was seen as a way to democratize access to information, but there was no good way to explore it other than visiting friends' GeoCities pages. This is a very confusing and disorderly situation. Web1.0 is distinct in that websites provide content and users can only read the content.
